THE GRAMOPHONE
Music is life right? Why not find out the history of how you can listen to your music today. Was what I thought about when choosing which instrument to do an infographic on.

"did you know that the gramophone is considered an instrument?"
research

This motion graphic project was in collaboration with another school module, therefore there was a lot of secondary research done. The concept was to create an infographic about an instrument of our choice to learn more about it. The school taught us the importance of story-telling here, where we need a Hook, a problem and a conclusion. It was very interesting to learn in year 1.
development

A lot of sketches were done here. One day, I will get used to cancel culture. But digitalising the sketches and making them into a storyline was enjoyable. This is where we create the timeline, the general storyboard and script to how the animation is going to look like. Words like Flip, Slide and Extend will appear a lot in here.
final artwork

Animating the storyboard and assets was the most fun, especially matching the movements with the music choice. This is where I realised that research played a really big part in designs. Because estentially designers relay messenges in a more creative way.
